Custom Designed Test Systems

Plant Link S.L. specialises in the custom design & development of electronic test equipment for the automotive industry. A wide variety of testers have been built ranging from single card units supplied in a hand sized box to full height tower systems for major automotive manufacturing facilities. Extensive use of microprocessors, microcontrollers and latest technology enables Plant Link to pack the power of a large test system in to a briefcase sized box. Plant Link is the fastest in the industry to design, build & install custom test equipment. We have never installed a system behind schedule. Below is a sample of systems recently completed.

	Tester / Programmer for Voice Control Modules Portable equipment in a briefcase type housing for testing voice control modules. Designed specifically for field failure analysis & restoration of voice control modules at the customer site. Can read the module flash memory contents & display in various formats for analysis. A fast programming facility can restore all or part of the flash. Extensive test & communication capabilities include: Bluetooth, fibre optic and Kbus. The equipment incorporates an internal variable frequency sine wave generator & signal measurement facilities for audio testing.
	Audio & Climate Control Production Line Tester Plant Link production line test equipment for automotive manufacturing facilities. It is two testers in one performing a full set of production line functional tests on two different module types. The machine performs 100% of the functional tests required for the manufacture of an audio module & of a climate control module.
	Portable ECU Tester and Programmer Portable equipment in a briefcase type housing for testing ECUs (Engine Control Units). Designed specifically for field failure analysis & restoration of "ESU" modules at the customer site. Totally automatic - bar code reader recognises ECU, selects correct test & calibration programs & initiates process. Has option to recalibrate ECU (reprogram internal Flash memory contained in ECU module)
	Bench Top ECU Tester and Programmer Bench top equipment for testing ECUs (Engine Control Units). Designed specifically to program and test EECs (Electronic Engine Control) modules. The equipment can erase and reprogram the ECU calibrations (control software held in Flash memory). The latest equipment is set up to automatically detect, test and reprogram more than 1000 variations of Ford ECU modules and calibrations.
	Production Line Tester For PATS Modules Plant Link production line test equipment for automotive manufacturing facilities. Designed specifically to test PATS (Passive Anti Theft System) modules. The machine performs 100% of the functional tests required for PATs module manufacture.
